- I am drawn to the intense flavors and scents of tropical and other fruit. I spend time with each of my models to observe and appreciate their uniqueness.
- My goal is to capture the essence of my subjects showing their abundance, sensuality, and sweet sustenance.
- I marvel at and am inspired by the intricacy and wonder of the design of both the interiors and the exteriors of these vessels.
- I can get pleasantly lost for hours trying to follow and depict the calligraphic and mystical paths meandering through the skin of a melon.
