• I am drawn to the intense flavors and scents of tropical and other fruit. I spend time with each of my models to observe and appreciate their uniqueness.

  • My goal is to capture the essence of my subjects – showing their abundance, sensuality, and sweet sustenance.

  • I marvel at and am inspired by the intricacy and wonder of the design of both the interiors and the exteriors of these vessels.

  • I can get pleasantly lost for hours trying to follow and depict the calligraphic and mystical paths meandering through the skin of a melon.

  • I was created between mango and avocado trees in Miami and moved to the Bay Area at age four.
  • I am a Peruvian Jew who adores working with colors and patterns.

  • I have been very involved in local Latino art, making altars for Day of the Dead in the Fruitvale street fairs and in local libraries.
